DOCTORS OF CHIROPRACTICThe Chiropractors Act, 1994, introduced statutory regulation of the chiropractic profession. This effectively means that anybody wishing to practise as a chiropractor must be suitably qualified and is required to register with the General Chiropractic Council. |

Dr Read-Jones studied 'A' levels at North Devon College before attending a four year full time degree course at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, Bournemouth, where in 1992 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chiropractic. After a fifth year of practical training, she became a fully qualified Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr Read-Jones has now been a qualified chiropractor for 16 years, and has practised at various chiropractic clinics and medical centres throughout the South West. In 1998 she moved back to Barnstaple where she has settled permanently to develop her own practice. |

Dr Kathryn Smith BSc (M Chiro) DC MCC

Dr Smith was born and grew up in Weymouth. She attended a five year full time degree course at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth where she graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Chiropractic.
Dr Smith practised in Bournemouth before moving to Barnstaple in March 2008 to pursue her career. |
